Abstract

A questionnaire measure of Sexual Interest is described; in construction and scoring, the authors have borrowed from the Sexual Orientation Method. Five subscale scores relating to different areas of sexual behavior can be measured, and an overall Sexual Interest score obtained. The measure is fully described, and preliminary data on internal consistency, reliability, and validity are presented. Applications of the scale are described for both clinical and research purposes.
