VII. Reifung von Myeloblasten zu Promyelozyten und Myelozyten bei myeloischen Leukämien

Zusammenfassung

Die Reifung von Myeloblasten zu Promyelozyten II konnte an 3 Zellen und die von Promyelozyten I zu Myelozyten bzw. Metamyelozyten an weiteren 2 Zellen in vitro phasenoptisch kinematographisch dokumentiert werden. Die Reifungszeit betrug 13 bis 19 h und entspricht damit der errechneten unseres stochastischen Modells der Granulozytopoese. Alle diese Beobachtungen kamen in Knochenmarkproben myeloischer Leukämien vor, was wir darauf zurückführen, daß mehr Myeloblasten in diesen Proben aufgefunden wurden als bei nicht-leukämischen Markproben.

Summary

The maturation of 3 myeloblasts into promyelocytes II and of 3 promyelocytes I into myelocytes or else metamyelocytes was observed in vitro by phase contrast and documented in time lapse cinematography. The transit time was between 13 and 19 h and thus confirms the time calculated previously in our stochastical model of granulocytopoiesis. All these observations occured in bone marrow specimens of chronic or smouldering myeloid leukaemias from which fact we deduce that it is caused only by the more frequent occurence of myeloblasts in the leukaemic bone marrow specimens.
