Summary
Human fraction I-0, containing AHF, prepared by the glycine method ofBlombäck a.Blombäck, has been given on 818 occasions to 63 patients with haemophilia A. The patients were treated in connexion with major and minor surgical procedures and bleeding episodes, such as gastrointestinal, retroperitoneal, renal and joint bleeding. It is shown that fraction I-0 can be used with advantage to treat bleedings in haemophiliacs, to prepare them for operations and to promote subsequent healing.
