Zusammenfassung

  1. 1.

    Man kann das Serum durch verschiedene chemische Verbindungen (Säuren, Basen usw.) zur Gerinnung bringen.

  2. 2.

    Diese Gerinnung scheint vor allem auf den Reichtum an Globulinfraktion zurückgeführt werden zu müssen.

  3. 3.

    Wenn das Serum reicher an dieser Proteinfraktion ist, wird die Gerinnung rascher.

  4. 4.

    Diese Beschleunigung erfolgt ausschließlich bei Neubildungen, Tuberkulose, Lebererkrankungen und vielleicht bei der experimentell erzeugten Überempfindlichkeit.

  5. 5.

    Es scheint, daß diese beschleunigte Serumgerinnung durch Milchsäure zu einer differentiellen Tumordiagnose dienen kann.
