Summary
A significant increase in arterial capillaries together with a significant reduction of the venous sinusoids is demonstrated by quantitative histologic evaluation of the bone marrow in 35 patients with mature and immature granulocytic myeloses. There are reasons for the assumption of a genetic as well as a nutritive relationship between different parts of the vascular, osteogenous and myelogenous tissues of the bone marrow.
