Studia Geophysica et Geodaetica Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The effects of solar proton flares and enhanced solar activity, indicated by intensive radio bursts in the decimetre range, on the Auroral Electrojet (AE) Index at the time these events occurred, are investigated. A significant increase in the level of the AE index was observed after the occurrence of these events.
