Abstract
Nonlinear changes of the reflection coefficient are computed at fast wave launching by a waveguide array; namely, the case of an eventual fast wave experiment on the FTU tokamak is considered. In the case of low plasma density gradients, the reflection coefficient may significantly change at the wave power in the range of several kilowatts per centimetre square because of the ponderomotive force effects.
