Zusammenfassung
Die sich durch eine Gasteilchenmischung fortflanzenden Stosswellen stören das Geschwindigkeits- und Temperaturgleichgewicht zwischen den beiden Phasen, und es wird eine Relaxationszone erzeugt, in der sich das Gleichgewicht durch den Mechanismus des Teilchenschleppens und der Wärmeübertragung wiederherstellt. Das durch die Teilchen besetzte Volumen wird normalerweise vernachlässigt, aber es dürfte bedeutsam werden, wenn entweder die Gasdichte oder die Teilchenmassefraktion gross ist. Der Einfluss des endlichen Teilchenvolumens auf Stromvariabeln in der Relaxationszone wird erörtert. Es zeigt sich, dass die Stromvariabeln sich nicht immer monoton ändern; es wird ein Maximum oder ein Minimum durchquert. Mit Zunahme der Teilchenvolumenfraktion wird der Einfluss auf die Stromvariabeln beträchtlich, und die durch die Vernachlässigung entstandenen Fehler werden gross.
