Computer aided application of the principle of least degeneracy

Abstract

A computer aided method is presented, which, using the principle of least degeneracy, allowst to calculate the appropriate stretching of the variables and parameters for a singular perturbation problem arising for a differential equation with an arbitrary number of terms.

Résumé

On présente une méthode basée sur le principe de moindre dégénérescence, permettant à l'aide d'une calculatrice de calculer la dilatation convenable des variables et paramètres dans un problème de perturbation singulière d'une équation différentielle dont le nombre de termes est arbitraire.
