Summary
The heating of cylinder, sphere and cube is computed, the starting and boundary conditions being specified for cases of technical importance. The solution of nonstationary heating problems (considering heat sources, and starting and boundary conditions of very general nature) can always be synthetized by superposition of a finite number of partial solutions, which can, in principle, be found in the same manner as those worked out in this paper.
