Abstract
Theory and experiment on modes of propagation of the light waves in anisotropic doublelayer structures is presented. The basic parameters of singleand doublelayer waveguides are determined (refractive index, thickness). Comparison between anisotropic and isotropic model is given together with discussion of accuracy of the waveguide paramaters determination.
