Abstract
Due to the ponderomotive action of the radiofrequency (RF) field at the plasma edge, conditions for minimizing the power reflection coefficient R2 can change considerably with increasing RF power. Dependences of R2 on the unperturbed edge plasma density and on the RF power density are computed for a series of illustrative examples.
