Abstract
In the temperature range of approximately 110–130 K the transition of the planar slip to the wavy one occurs in AgCl crystals. The transition manifests itself by substantial shortening of originally long and straight slip traces on the top oriented surface of the samples. The wavy slip bands (in the bulk of the sample) are created by mutual association of the narrow, straight and long slip strips.
