On magnetic impurities doped into polyacetylene

  • Published:
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics B Aims and scope

Abstract

Theory of collective states of a trans-polyacetylene chain doped with magnetic impurities is presented. The impurity magnetic moment may be either enhanced or suppressed. Impurity moments interact via solitonic and polaronic polarisation of the chain.
