Colloid-SEM method for the study of domain structures of garnet films

Abstract

For the characterization of thin garnet films with submicron bubbles the capabilities of the conventional optical methods become limited. It is shown that the colloid-SEM method enables more precise determination of the stripe widths and bubble diameters in such garnet films.
