Fast-neutron spectrum measurement by a stilbene scintillation spectrometer

  • Published:
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics B Aims and scope

Abstract

A stilbene scintillation spectrometer for continuous fast-neutron spectra measurement is described in this paper. Discrimination of gamma rays is achieved by utilizing differences in the shapes of scintillation pulses produced by recoiled protons and electrons. In addition, results of measurements of fast-neutron spectra of the reactor beam are given.
