Propagation of the electrodynamic disturbance following a Barkhausen jump in metallic ferromagnetic samples

II. Finite samples

Czechoslovak Journal of Physics B Aims and scope

Abstract

The transient which follows a Barkhausen jump in a metallic ferromagnetic sample is studied theoretically for samples with orthogonal plane boundaries. The e.m.f. induced in a narrow pick-up coil is calculated and its dependence on physical and geometrical characteristics of the sample is investigated.
