Dependence of the Coriolis interaction on nuclear shape

Abstract

The single particle Coriolis matrix elements were calculated from both, the Nilsson model and from the model with Woods-Saxon potentials. Strong dependence on deformation was found for the states affected substantially by theΔN = 2 interaction.
