Résumé

On calcule la force d'amortissement agissant sur un corps de forme arbitraire auquel on fait subir de petites oscillations latérales dans une expansion infinie de liquide élastique et visqueux. On montre que l'élasticité a pour effet de réduire la résistance à des fréquences hautes et de l'augmenter à des fréquences basses.
