Linearized Poiseuille flow between parallel plates

Zusammenfassung

Der Gasstrom eines verdünnten Gases zwischen zwei unendlichen, parallelen Platten (ebene Poiseuille-Strömung) wird berechnet. Die vollständige, linearisierte Boltzmann-Gleichung wird mittels Variationsverfahren behandelt. Die Näherungsfunktion entspricht in Kontinuumsnähe der exakten Burnettverteilung, Resultate werden für das Modell starrer Kugeln und für Maxwellmoleküle angegeben.
