Summary
Many substances, when subjected to radioactive radiations, undergo definite changes. With the help of the Target-Theory it is possible to discuss some special effect such as the depth of penetration of the rays, the allowable doses of radiation energy, the after effects, protection against radiation and so on. This paper deals with interference processes, i. e. processes where the radiations are incident; and the compensation process, i. e. proceses that follow afterwards. The solution of the corresponding differential equations by means of a digital computer is outlined.
