Abstract
It is shown that in a semiconductor with spatially periodical concentration of impurities it is possible to attain a situation when the conductivity varies under d.c. applied electric field periodically with time, i.e. oscillations of current can occur. The occurence of such oscillations is the consequence of the inertia of processes taking place in the semiconductor.
