The electron distribution function in flowing afterglow argon plasma with the D.C. discharge plasma source

  • Published:
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics B Aims and scope

Conclusion

The measurements presented in this paper show that in our experimental conditions, in the flowing afterglow plasma generated by the D.C. plasma source the electron distribution function is not Maxwellian in the whole energetic region. In our experimental conditions it is not possible to use the electron temperature in the sense of the Maxwellian temperature.
