The tensor force and the accuracy of the unitary pole approximation

  • Published:
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics B Aims and scope

Abstract

Unitary pole approximation (UPA) has been applied to the rank-two non-local two-body separable potential (coupled3S1-3D1 state) recently proposed bySirohi et al., and its accuracy has been investigated both at positive and negative energies. We find that the quality of the UPA fits obtained in each case seems to be very promising and the accuracy increases with momentum (and energy) chosen. The usefulness of the model in the study of the three particle systems has been suggested.
