The (n, α) reaction measurements on143Nd and180Hf with thermal neutrons

Abstract

The thermal neutron cross sections for severalα-transitions of the143Nd(n,α) reaction have been measured using a semiconductor surface barrier telescope. The143Nd(n, γα) reaction has been observed. The180Hf(n,α) cross section estimation is given.
