A versatile fast double pulse generator

Zusammenfassung

Es wird ein Doppelpulsgenerator beschrieben, der die Erzeugung von vielseitigen Wellenformen mit extrem kurzen Anstiegs- und Abfallzeiten gestattet. Mit Hilfe von «step recovery diodes» werden individuell verzögerte positive und negative schrittförmige Wellenformen hergestellt und dann zu Doppelpulsen zusammengesetzt. Die resultierenden Pulse besitzen bei einer Last von 50 Ohm eine Amplitude von etwa 8 Volt und Anstiegs-und Abfallzeiten von weniger als 0,4 nsec. Pulsbreite und Abstand können elektronisch von 0 bis 100 nsec. variiert werden.
