Abstract

A new method based on the direct calculation of infinite products is developed in order to evaluate the functional integrals representing the one- and two-particle canonical density matrices for the Bezák's model of a disordered solid. The present results are in agreement with those obtained by an integral transform method (Barta, Papadopoulos).
