X-ray topographic observation of lattice defects in TGS crystals

  • Published:
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics B Aims and scope

Abstract

Lattice defects in TGS single crystals have been studied using both transmission and reflection X-ray topography. Dislocations of different types have been observed and the Burgers vectors of most of them have been found. Volume defects, their shape and distribution have been investigated and suggestions for the explanation of their character are given. Interactions between these defects and between them and ferroelectric domain walls are discussed.
