Diffusion-elastic phenomena II. Experiments

Abstract

Measurements of diffusion-induced elastic deformation during diffusion of hydrogen through the double-layer Cu-Ni are compared with the previously described theoretical model. Diffusivities of hydrogen in Ni and Cu found on the basis of diffusion-elastic phenomena are compared with those obtained by other methods. Importance of these phenomena is discussed.
