Summary
Two new methods for determining the transfer functions of two-terminal pair RLC-networks are described. Using these methods the impulsive reponse of the respective netword approximates any given and permissible function. The error of approximation can be made arbitrarily small if the order of the transfer function is not taken, i.e. if the number of circuit elements is not restricted.
The peculiarity of the new methods appears in the transformation of the time domain in certain other domains. Thus the problem is reduced to the relatively easy problem of approximation by polynomials.
The efficiency of the methods is shown by means of some practical examples.
