Summary
The author, on the basis of his operative and pathological observations, reports three variations in the site of acoustic tumors in the cerebellopontile angle, i. e. 1. intracisternal, 2. extracisternal and 3. extradural ones. In this connection, the problem of origin also is discussed. Supposing that the origin of the most frequent variety has got a location by predilection, and therefore it presents a histological aspect of a set type, however, the tumor may arise from other parts of the nerve, and may accordingly show different histological peculiarities.
