Contents

The paper develops a general mathematical model for the analysis of the interconnected earthing systems. The mutual interacting of earthing systems through the soil, admittances of interconnecting ties as well as the emfs induced therein, due to fault currents, are taken into account. Various circumstances which can appear in actual conditions are discussed as special cases. An example from the practice illustrates the application of the method suggested and gives an idea on the effects of various parameters upon the current and voltage conditions at earthing systems.
