The paper deals with the calculation of the electrodynamic forces acting on a planar circular coil placed over a bimetallic plate.

The analysis is carried out with reference to the induction heating of plates of magnetic and non-magnetic materials.

Die vorliegende Arbeit beschreibt die Berechnung der elektrodynamischen Kräfte zwischen einer Bimetallplatte und einer darüber befindlichen ebenen kreisförmigen Spule.

Die Analyse ist mit Bezug auf die Induktionsheizung der magnetischen und nicht magnetischen Platten durchgeführt.
