Abstract
We present the 1/M relativistic B-S expansion formalism for heavy mesons, explain its relation to HQET and give further simplified formulas. The numerical results for the decay rates of 1− and 0+ heavy mesons including the effects of the order 1/M are obtained with a model which has been used successfully to the spectra of heavy mesons.
