Die Wellenausbreitung auf verlustlosen Doppelleitungen mit räumlich veränderlichen Werten der längenbezogenen Induktivität und Kapazität wird untersucht. Für eine Klasse von entweder monoton wachsenden oder monoton fallenden Verläufen des Wellenwiderstandes gelingt es, exakte Lösungen in geschlossener Form darzustellen.

The wave propagation along a lossless two wire transmission line with variable inductance and capacity per unit length is investigated. Exact representations of the solutions are found in closed form provided that the variations of the characteristic impedance are described by a class of functions which are either monotonically increasing or decreasing.
