Reference is made here to an article of 1944, see bibliography. W. Eliasberg, No. 4. The term “graphology” has been fraught with all sorts of exaggerated claims and hostile prejudices. It should be replaced for scientific purposes, and the writer suggests that “graphologic diagnostics” be used instead. The word “graphology” is still being made use of here, however, particularly where there are historical reasons.
