Abstract
The “partonic” calculation of the charge asymmetry of like-sign lepton pairs coming from\(B_d - \bar B_d \) decays as a result of mixing is reconsidered. Several possible corrections do not change the prediction in an important way. It is unlikely, in the minimal standard model, that the absolute value of the asymmetry is larger than 4×10−3.
