Abstract

Using a crossed beam photoelectric technique, relative photoionization cross sections have been determined in the spectral region 1200 to 1600 Å. Apart from confirming (and sometimes extending) earlier results obtained by absorption and emission methods, this yielded the profiles of the extremely wide autoionizing lines of AgI.
