Abstract
Distributions and correlations of magnetic fluxes as well as correlations between magnetic fluxes and other local observables are calculated numerically in order to explain the phase structure of the 4D Georgi-Glashow model on the lattice. We use and compare different definitions of magnetic fluxes. The data suggest a simple picture characterizing typical magnetic fluctuations in different regions of the phase space. A relaxation procedure exposes Abelian monopole-loop configurations in one of the phases.
