Außer den im Übermikroskop auftretenden bekannten Objektschädigungen durch Ionisation, Austrocknung und Temperaturerhöhung ist noch eine weitere durch Oxydation möglich, wie an stärker belasteten Wolframpulvern gezeigt wird.
