Elektrokinetische Untersuchungen an manganaktivierten Zinksilikatleuchtstoffen

Zusammenfassung

Auf Grund von Untersuchungen der elektrischen und adsorptiven OberflÄcheneigenschaften wird versucht, das unterschiedliche Verhalten von klumpenden sowie rieselfÄhigem Zn2SiO4∶Mn zu erklÄren. Dazu wurde das Zetapotential für HCl-, NaOH-, BaCl2-, ZnCl2- und Methylenblau-Lösungen aus dem Strömungspotential abgeleitet. Die durch Kieselsol erzeugte RieselfÄhigkeit ist mit der Blockierung der positivierendem Zink- und Mangan-IonenplÄtze verknüpft. Wasserstoff -sowie Hydroxylionen verÄndern das OberflÄchenpotential betrÄchtlich; sie sind potentialbestimmend. WÄhrend Na+ und Cl− wie oberflÄcheninaktive, indifferente Ionen wirken, ist der Einflu\ von Zn++ von der Vorbehandlung des Leuchtstoffes abhÄngig.
