A study of ventilation transients associated with a controlled district recirculation circuit

Summary

This paper discusses the development of a mathematical model to describe the unsteady airflow created and the subsequent effect on both the production and transportation of methane around the recirculation zone. Examples of the response of a single face recirculation system to various disturbances are presented and discussed.
