Conclusions

  1. 1.

Investigations of the seepage regime of the turntable of the Krasnoyarsk ship lift indicate that expulsion of seepage water from fractures occurs under the effect of a load on the foundations, which leads to a rise of water levels in piezometers.

  2. 2.

The results presented can serve as indirect confirmation that shear phenomena in rocks at the site of hydro developments preceding earthquakes lead to a change in the seepage regime in the dam of the hydro development, information about which can be obtained from piezometer readings.
