Conclusions
-
1.
Precast dams can be one of the main directions in the construction of dams of small categories.
-
2.
The specific labor expenditures on precast concrete are almost 10 times less than onin situ concrete dams of analogous categories.
-
3.
Precast concrete shortens the total construction time by 3–4 times and on concreting operation by 5–7 times.
-
4.
The experience of constructing the Saltyn dam permits recommending precast designs of dams for wide use.
