Conclusions
-
1.
Investigations of heating of concrete on the Sayano-Shushenskoe dam supplemented Soviet experience in grouting construction joints of concrete dams in the northern construction climatic zone and showed the possibility, by using simple technological means, of providing a suitable quality of sealing structures in the presence of partially frozen zones of construction joints.

2.
The recommended hydrothermal heating method based on passing the heat-transfer agent through the regrouting system blends rather well into the technology of works on sealing, does not require the installation of special embedded elements, and is distinguished by simplicity and the necessary degree of reliability.

3.
The experience of Soyuzgidrospetsstroi gained on the construction of the Sayano-Shushenskoe gravity-arch dam can be applied to the performance of works on grouting joints under conditions of the negative temperatures of Siberia and the Far East.
