Conclusions
The use of scuba- and helmet-diving equipment is advisable when inspecting hydraulic structures of hydrostations at depths to 20 m.
The use of helmet-diving equipment is advisable when working at depths to 40–45 m. Scuba-diving suits can be used in individual cases.
When working at depths exceeding 40–45 m, units with the use of diving chambers are the most economical. Such a unit is being developed at the Siberian Hydraulic Engineering Institute joint-stock company.
