Summary

The possible changes of serum insulin-like-activity in hyperlipemic conditions both pathologic and experimental, are investigated.

In the subjects that were studied no changes of insulin-like-activity were observed, so that the AA. think that fat metabolism has a scanty effect on blood insulin in the above-mentioned experimental conditions, of course with the restrictions coming by the nature of the method used in the assay.
