The measurement of the resonance integrals for neutron absorption

  • Published:
The Soviet Journal of Atomic Energy Aims and scope

Abstract

The results of the measurement of the absorption resonance integrals are given for 42 elements. The method used in the work is based on the accurate measurement of the reactivity of a nuclear reactor when a sample studied is introduced into the active zone and enables the measurement of the neutron-absorption resonance integrals for reactor neutrons above the cadmium energy. For 10 elements resonance integrals not measured previously were obtained.
