Summary
From the conductometric and electrometric investigations of the interaction of chromium chloride and sodium silicate solutions, it has been concluded that along with the formation of hydroxide two silicates of chromium are formed with sodium silicate of 1∶3.2 soda silica ratio and only one with that of 1∶4.266 soda silica ratio. In the latter case, the reaction is not stoichiometric.
