Bei der Lösung von Eisen mit gebundenem C in verdünnten Mineralsäuren unter Luftzutritt entsteht neben den entsprechenden Eisensalzen auch organische Substanz, welche in der Hauptsache wahrscheinlich Eiweiß ist.
